Fighting Climate Change
Environmental sustainability is core to our operations, and we are committed to:
• Reducing our carbon emissions: We are committed to tackling climate
change, and fully understand we have a large role to play in reduce our
emissions as well as encouraging others to reduce theirs. We are committed in the UK to achieving net zero emissions by 2045 and our carbon reduction plan can be found here. We seek to partner with logistics companies and distributors who proactively reduce their emissions.
• Single use plastics: At Newfoundland, we are committed to being a
responsible distributor of high-quality, fully certified medical consumables. We recognize the importance of minimizing waste and reducing the use of single-use plastics wherever possible. Additionally, we seek to ensure that our products are disposed of in an environmentally safe manner. We are actively collaborating with our partners to develop tests that are fully recyclable or biodegradable.
