What is the difference between self-test and professional use?

A self-test may be carried out by anyone aged 18+, with detailed instructions included in the packaging. We recommend anyone under 18 be supervised by an adult when self-testing.

A professional-use test can be performed by anyone with medical training. This can be at home if someone with training is available, or you can bring your test to a clinic or pharmacy for assistance.
